Lettuce Recalled in 23 States for E. Coli Contamination

A nutriment companionship is recalling 23 states outstanding to a feasible E. coli outbreak that has sickened 19 people, three soberly. Freshway Foods of Sidney, Ohio is recalling shredded romaine lettuce sold inferior to the Fre shway and Imperial Sysco brands. A spokesperson said the lettuce was sold wholesale to chow help outlets, delis, and in-store salad bars. In totting up, it also affects “appropriate and army” salads sold at Kroger, Giant Eagle, Ingles Markets and Marsh grocery stores.
